James 1:2-8
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
I worshipped and prayed at the piano for all of you this morning. Skyler did not want to take a nap. She kept crying and it kills me to hear her cry. It really is unbearable. Bring me relief
In the midst of our trial the ONLY thing that gave me permanent relief for certain situations was reading a verse and then God showing me how it applied to our lives. It is imperative that you read the Word in those desperate moments. It takes 20 seconds to read just one verse. Some times that is all you need to get true relief, true hope. If you are feeling desperate, then go to the Word today. If God doesn’t speak to you something directly, don’t sweat it, don’t worry about it, just begin making it a habit.
We are praying for you as you persevere! If you do not persevere you will not be mature and you will not be complete. I do not know what perseverance looks like for you but God does. He will help you figure it out! Be careful not to let what has become common place in our society and let those who don’t want to see you hurting tell you what perseverance looks like in your life.

And I would have taken Darin to “the cleaners” while divorcing him
I’m so glad God gave me courage to listen intently to Him and not give in to peer pressure! Take courage today!!! Come on now! I know it’s humiliating doing what God wants you to do but think about what Noah had to deal with. God asked him to build a big boat in front of people that had no idea it was “God inspired”.
