I recently talked with a woman who out of desperation decided she was going to buy some equipment so that she could spy on her husband. She wanted to be able to catch him doing what she had begun to suspect.
I told her she already had the best spy
She doesn’t need to go buy anything
I said
Her spy is
Jesus
and
He sees everything
Proverbs 5:21
For a man’s ways are in full view of the Lord,

He reveals deep and hidden things;
and he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If you run around trying to catch your spouse doing what you think they should or shouldn’t be doing then my friend you are getting in God’s way and waisting a ton of time and energy! Put your spouse in God’s very capable hands, keep your eyes focused on Jesus and see what he can do!
Resist the urge to fight for your marriage the “world’s way”! This takes extreme unpopular Faith but you can do it. Jesus is with you and though it might not look like it, he is most definitely with your spouse!
Darin and I were full but we became hungry
Darin and I looked healthy but we became weak
Darin and I were very confident
But we lost our confidence
Only to gain a greater confidence
It is because of Jesus and his precious Word
We now stand whole and strong!
It was hard
HARD
I would be a liar if I said anything different
But do you really ever avoid hard
I have blamed the enemy many times for coming after Darin and I and have written how he wanted to destroy our family. I do believe this but as I look back I see God’s mighty hand in our lives and what the enemy meant for evil God meant and turned for good.
I want to encourage you to start looking at your situation with new eyes. What does God want to do in me through all this?
I assure you it is not by accident that you are walking through tumultuous waters! Not by accident at all!!!!
