Consequences are a bitch!

Share Article

There might be some of you that are reading my blog that do not know Jesus as your Savior. You have never experienced His love and grace that I talk about in the stories of our life. You might even have feelings of hate when you think of Jesus and you can’t understand why He has all these rules. I want to tell you the reason He has any rules at all is because He knows consequences are a bitch! He knows if you get pregnant before your married no matter what you choose life is going to be a struggle. He knows if you go to a party and get drunk and forget who you slept with guilt will haunt you. He knows if you fall in love with someone else while you are still married the consequences are not only a bitch but get worse if you follow through. Someone else that knows about consequences is Satan. The more consequences he can get you to go after the happier he becomes because then not only do you have to suffer through the consequences he gets to pile on guilt and regret. Jesus does not pile on guilt and regret. That is why Jesus died on the cross so there would be no more guilt and no more regret.

So if you are reading this post Jesus wants you to know He loves you. He will not be offended by anything you say to Him. You can even tell Him you hate Him and you hate His rules. It will not hurt His feelings. He knows this about you anyway. He is coming after you with His love. It is going to destroy the works of the evil one in your life. You are going to finally be filled with the peace you crave, the love you long for and He is going to give you the Joy that will overcome your grief. As you come to Him He will help you figure it all out. The Bible says in Hebrews that he was tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. That means he knows intimately how you feel. He is not caught off guard by any sin, any thought, or any situation.

Psalm 103:1-5

Praise the LORD, my soul;

all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the LORD, my soul,

and forget not all his benefits

who forgives all your sins

and heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit

and crowns you with love and compassion,

who satisfies your desires with good things

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
