My name is Julie Sims and I am a wife, mom, friend, and writer. I am glad you found us! If you are doubtful your marriage can “make it” please hold that thought for a while. Give hope a chance. You’ll find it rising inside of you as you visit with me.
My husband and I have been married 18 years. We have a two beautiful and precious daughters, Macy Mae who is 12 and Skyler Ericka who is 6 and came to our family through Open Adoption. We moved to Michigan from Oregon in March of 2009 but have since moved to Florida for Darin’s job.
If you are new to this blog please take the time to go back and read the previous posts. God has taught us amazing things that I share in all these stories of our life and they could encourage you and give you hope for your situation. If you go to the bottom right of my blog you will see the archives and I started writing our story in January of 2011 so that is a great place to start.
I also want to encourage you to read every verse I have posted. I confess often times when I read a book with verses in it I skip over the verses because I think I’ve read them and know them already. It is the written Word of God that holds the power in these stories of our life.
