I had the opportunity to share our story last week with a group of Moms at our church.
Telling our story never gets old! Never!!!
I really hope it never does get old.
As I was preparing I remembered this verse God gave me March 1st of 2009.
He gave it to me 16 days before Macy and I got on a plane and left everything that was “safe and secure” and moved to Michigan.
Psalm 138
I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart;
before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for you have exalted above all things
your name and your word.
When I called, you answered me;
you made me bold and stouthearted.
May all the kings of the earth praise you, O Lord.
when they hear the words of your mouth.
May they sing of the ways of the Lord,
for the glory of the Lord is great.
Though the Lord is on high, he looks upon the lowly,
but the proud he knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes,
with your right hand you save me.
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your love, O Lord, endures forever-
do not abandon the works of your hands.
That is exactly what God did for me. He answered me and made me bold and stouthearted! I knew packing up our entire house to move across country to Detroit of all places to once again try to make it work with Darin was crazy, yet God had told me to do it! I packed about up a few boxes about a month or two before we moved but the majority of my packing all happened during the 1st two weeks of March. That verse that day gave me courage to look crazier than I already looked. I was packing those boxes in Faith that God was going to do a miracle for us.
I’m so glad I obeyed! I would have missed out on so much! All of us would have! Darin and I and our daughters!
I am praying for you today my dear friend that God himself will come and give you courage to do whatever he is asking you to do. I am praying that He too will make you bold and stouthearted!
Love you in God’s way!
